• When you are making a purchase, please double-check the sizing listed for the item you are ordering - this is particularly important if it is a pre-made piece that has a fixed size.

  • If your item is in stock, I'll send it to you within 24hrs. If it is not in stock, please contact me as I might be able to make a duplicate for you.  Made-to-order pieces take between 1-6 weeks, depending on the details involved and turnaround times for hallmarking.

  • All jewellery is carefully wrapped in tissue paper and placed inside an eco-friendly pillow box.  These can be used to store your jewellery in the long-term or easily recycled with cardboard.  I wrap strands of rafia around the box, to keep it secure (and to make it look pretty!).  I then wrap the box in bubble wrap and place it into a padded envelope, so there is very little risk of damage.

  • I will always post your jewellery to you using a tracked, signed for and insured service and will endeavour to get it to you at the earliest possible opportunity.  Please note that with items made specifically to order, the delivery time is much longer simply because the pieces need to be created from scratch and then hallmarked (which can take up to 10 days at peak times), before I can dispatch.

  • I am happy to adjust some ring and bangle sizes if your new jewellery from The Soldersmith doesn't fit and if the design allows for resizing.  I will do this free of charge once (not including postage from you to me), if you return it to me within 14 days.  Any subsequent sizing  alterations will still be free (not including postage from you to me), but I will need to charge for Royal Mail Special Delivery postage from me to you.

  • Please note that earrings and pendants cannot be altered, although in some circumstances, I am happy to adjust the necklace length for you.  Please let me know within 7 days if you need a chain length altered.

  • I'm afraid I do not offer refunds for any jewellery at this point in time.
