What's involved?

No class to keep pace with. No one watching over your shoulder. Nineteen years of silversmithing pointed entirely at whatever you want to make, at whatever speed you want to make it. Most people who book this have never picked up a piercing saw. That isn't a problem, it's the usual starting point. You'll saw, file, texture, solder and polish, and you'll do it in real sterling silver from the first cut. No practice metal. What you make is up to you. Bring an idea, a scribble on the back of an envelope, or nothing at all and we'll work it out between us. A ring. A pair of earrings. A bangle. Something you've had in your head for years and never found anyone to help you make. One honest note on scope. Three and a half hours is enough to make one good thing properly, and that's what we'll do. What it isn't enough for, if you've not soldered before, is setting a stone or cutting a hinge. Those aren't afternoon skills, they're term skills, and I'd rather say so now than at half past three. Bring your ambitious idea by all means. We'll talk it through first and land on something you'll actually be pleased to wear home. You'll go home wearing it. Got a design in mind?
